Peer Connect
Small-Group Connection and Learning
Peer Connect matches participants with similar interests in small groups to practice social skills in engaging, fun hang-outs, while providing opportunities for all parties to learn and grow.

Dates are flexible and dependent on what works best for the group. For example, if you sign up for a spring session you would hang out at least one hour, once per week for four weeks with your group.

Christian Scientists with developmental special needs who are seeking individualized connection and a learning opportunity

Each session (all four hangouts) costs $125 per person.
Thanks to our generous donors, financial assistance is available through our online application.

CherishAbility’s skilled and loving facilitators ensure activities are tailored to interests of the participants in each Peer Connect hang-out.
Emphasis is on fun and connection, while having a social-skill focus. For example, getting to know a new person, taking turns, following directions, listening, expressing a like or dislike in a graceful manner
