Resources & Referrals

We’re always here for you!

Where to find support

At CherishAbility, we believe that no Christian Scientist should feel alone on this path of caring for loved ones with developmental special needs.

We welcome inquiries from families, church members, and friends. We can put callers in touch with other CherishAbility families, or share information about those resources we are aware of.

We have gathered links and resources from CherishAbility families below. Let us know if you have documents, references and links to websites that might benefit others, and we’ll gladly add them to this growing section. Contact us at: info@CherishAbility.org or call 503.583.6743.

“When I called you, we were looking for [adult church member's] next home and weren't sure where to turn. We did not know of a local Christian Science environment for him—but you made the point that there are many people in this world who love looking after people with special needs.... I am delighted to tell you ... he is now in excellent hands.

I could not help thinking of [this loved one's] parents, who would have benefited greatly from CherishAbility. Thanks again for sharing so many constructive ideas with me."
